The American Clearinghouse on Educational Facilities
ACEF Journal Manuscript Submission
The American Clearinghouse on Educational Facilities (ACEF) Journal promotes nationwide leadership in educational facilities and is dedicated to the support and professional growth of leaders in public early childhood schools, K-12 schools, and institutions of higher education. The ACEF Journal is an electronic journal for the dissemination of research on effective educational practices regarding the planning, design, construction, improvement, operations, and maintenance of safe, healthy, sustainable educational facilities.
The ACEF Journal, the biannual blind-reviewed journal of the American Clearinghouse on Educational Facilities, exists to advance scholarly literature about the research, theory, and practice of educational facilities. The ACEF Journal considers articles from a wide variety of interest areas, including, but not limited to: environmentally sound practices, facility planning, facility design, facility construction, facility improvement, facility operations, facility maintenance, facility safety, and the impact of facilities on student learning. The editorial staff is always looking for quality submissions for journal articles. Faculty members conducting research related to educational facilities, graduate students working on a thesis or dissertation related to educational facilities, higher education administrators, or advising practitioners conducting scholarly inquiry in the area of educational facilities are all encouraged to submit manuscripts.
Manuscripts are typically reviewed within one to four months of submission. For all submissions, authors will receive constructive comments and assistance as the manuscript moves through the review process.
